The project covers rehabilitation of existing runway and aprons, extension of runway, construction of new PCC Isolation Pad and taxiway, patrol road, service road, parking area. New construction activities include air traffic control tower, terminal building, emergency building, cargo building, reception hall, fire station building, maintenance building, medical center, airport perimeter wall with guard towers, main gate and secondary gate, MV and LV electrical distribution systems, telecommunication system and provision and installation of aviation equipment (AGL, AWOS, VSAT, DWOR, ILS, VHF/UHF D-ATIS, Air Operation Control System)
